Two incidents with Cocktail Class Racers, which resulted in loss of driver control, have highlighted the need for kill switches.  Installation of a kill switch is a relatively easy process and well within the capabilities of outboard owners.  See our Technical Support page for more information on installing kill switches.

In an effort to be safety-conscience and protect drivers, all drivers are now required to wear helmets during our races.  Questions about types of helmets may be sent to grandpoobah@ccwbra.com.

In 2011, CCWBRA authorizerd Chesepeake Light Craft of Annapolis, MD to manufacture and sell a Skua Kit that meets all measurement requirements for registering and racing in CCWBRA sanctioned regattas.
